Since its launch in September 2018, the number of submissions to the JMA Journal has steadily increased, with 196 papers submitted in 2022, an acceptance rate of 45%, an average of 26 days from submission to first decision, and 61 days from submission to acceptance. This indicates a rapid peer review process.
